Western Mail Tracey Moberly A Cultural Weekend How I'll spend the next 48 hours 19 September 2009

MY weekend starts promptly on Fridays at noon when I host my regular radio show which my husband and I produce on Resonance 104.4fm or www.resonancefm.com We run an art/performance/music bar in London called The Foundry where each week we feature the artists and performers that are showing that week. After the show some of the guests will accompany me for lunch at the Strongrooms, a bar in Shoreditch. The prefect lead-up to the weekend. But the weekend officially begins today when I will do my standard daily three hours of writing for my book. I will be meeting up with author, poet and gay porn star Aiden Shaw. I've been working with Aiden on a number of photographic, radio and other projects. I'm hoping he will come to see Dorian Gray with me. For tea, I'm meeting my husband at the champagne bar in Selfridges for a New York salad, bottle of champagne and a blackcurrent brulee - an amazing treat as a belated anniversary celebration before we set off to see Pedro Almodovar's Broken Embraces. Tomorrow morning !'m setting up for the opening of next week's Harold Pinier's residency launch exhibition at The Hackney Empire. The event hosts a film I've made with artist Danny Pockets called Bermuda Blue Laps The Passion Pink Shore... and features nothing but our text messages (I've saved every single text message I've ever been sent since 1999).
